Workshop Organizer Privacy Policy

About this policy

Workshop Organizer is provided by Takoni tech. This policy describes how the app handles information when you organize tools, storage locations, project collections, checklists, and maintenance tasks.

Privacy contact: mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com

Information accessed and stored

No account is required. The app stores the information you enter locally on your device. This includes tool names, categories, brands, models, quantities, descriptions, tags, statuses, and assigned storage locations; location names, types, and descriptions; project collections and their equipment references; checklist items and completion states; and maintenance tasks, due dates, notes, and completion states.

The app also creates local record identifiers and activity history containing action descriptions, related record identifiers, and timestamps. History may include names and information from records you create or change.

When you choose an existing photograph, the app accesses the image you select and saves a resized JPEG copy in its private device storage. When you choose Capture, the app uses a camera application and saves the returned photograph locally. These actions are initiated by you.

When you start the QR scanner, the app uses Google Play services code scanning and receives the scanned label contents to find a matching tool in the inventory on that device. You can enter a tool ID manually instead. Generated tool labels contain a local tool identifier, rather than the tool's full record or photograph.

Storage locations are descriptions you enter, such as a workshop, cabinet, or drawer. The inspected app does not request device location access.

Purposes

The app uses this information to display and search inventory, organize storage and project collections, track checklist completion and maintenance, show workshop totals and activity history, attach photographs, open tools using labels, and generate exports. The inspected inventory features do not upload these records or photographs to a developer-operated server.

Collection, advertising, and tracking

The inspected application contains no account service, advertising display SDK, analytics service, or developer-operated data upload implementation. It does not show code that reads an advertising identifier. Its Android configuration nevertheless declares Internet access and the advertising ID permission. These permissions alone do not establish that advertising identifiers are collected or that advertisements are displayed.

Third-party services and sharing

QR scanning uses Google's Google Play services code scanner. Google Play services may need to download or prepare the scanner component. The inspected application source does not establish the complete diagnostic, usage-data, or other service-level processing performed by Google Play services. Google's handling of information through its services is governed by its applicable privacy terms.

QR label generation uses the ZXing library locally. The inspected code does not send label contents to a remote label-generation service.

When you export inventory, the app writes a CSV file to the destination you select through Android's document picker. The CSV includes tool identifiers, names, categories, descriptions, brands, models, quantities, storage location names, statuses, and tags. It excludes photographs, activity history, checklists, and maintenance records. You can also save QR labels as PNG images. A destination you select may be managed by a cloud storage or other document provider; that provider handles saved files under its own terms. Exported files are separate copies under your control.

Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device, Android version, and backup settings, the operating system may back up or transfer app data through your configured backup provider. Local storage therefore does not mean that operating-system backups or user-selected exports can never leave the device.

The Android host also contains a WebView configured to load an HTTPS terms/privacy page. The inspected startup state opens the inventory directly and does not display that page. If the WebView is displayed, loading the page involves a request to its website, which can receive connection information such as your IP address. The website's complete data practices are not established by the inspected app source.

Security

Android records are stored in the app's private preferences, and retained photographs are stored in its private files directory. These storage areas rely on Android's access controls. The inspected app does not implement additional application-level encryption for records or photographs. Protect your device and exported files from unauthorized access.

No developer-operated transmission of inventory records was identified. The configured terms/privacy page uses HTTPS, but the inspected source does not establish all security practices of Google Play services, backup providers, or document providers. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app's local data. There is no automatic expiration period in the inspected implementation.

You can edit and delete tools, locations, collections, checklists, and maintenance tasks, and remove attached photographs. Deleting a tool removes its record, linked maintenance tasks, and collection references. The app attempts to delete private photograph files that are no longer referenced after a successful save; unsuccessful cleanup can leave files in local app storage.

Deleting a record does not erase its earlier activity history. The app also creates a history entry describing deletion, which may retain the deleted record's name. No individual history deletion control was identified. To remove the complete local dataset, including history and remaining private photographs, use Android's option to clear the app's storage. Uninstalling normally removes local app data, but backup copies may remain or be restored under your device's settings.

Deleting information in the app does not delete original photographs from their source, exported CSV files or labels, or copies held by backup or document providers. Manage those copies separately through the relevant device settings or provider.

For deletion questions or requests, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The developer has no app-provided remote access to your locally stored inventory and cannot erase it remotely. Handling and retention of any information you voluntarily send in a support message are not established by the inspected application source or supplied app information.

Browser preview

If you use the browser preview, its records are stored in that browser's local storage. Clear the preview site's browser data to remove them. The preview can download CSV files, while photograph selection, capture, scanning, and printable QR label saving are available through the Android implementation. Downloaded files must be deleted separately.

Children's privacy

Workshop Organizer is a workshop productivity app. The supplied information does not establish a specific intended age range, and the inspected app has no age-verification or parental-consent feature. The local storage practices described above apply to anyone using the app. If you have a concern about a child's information, contact the privacy email below and remove relevant local records or clear the app's storage as appropriate.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or its data practices. Review the version made available with the app for updated information.
